Actually, that would explain a lot. But, no, I don't believe our soul/spirit becomes one with the universe at death. It could be true - I'm just saying I don't believe that is what happens.

nothing happens. why should it? are we so special? are we not animals? I guess you could say the "soul" becomes "one with the universe" in that it disapears, or burns out. whatever. no soul=no universe dancing

we are already part of the universe.when we die we will just stop consuming and producing energy changing it's form.our last energy by our rotting body and bones will just spread around...and it will change form again sometime by some cause
