Water, water, and water. Did I mention water? Stop with the chemicals. I'm sure you listen to the commercials. "For healthier looking skin." Does not give you healthy skin, just makes it look that way. You will need to lay off all sugary foods and increase the intake of leafy greens and tomatoes into your diet. In the absence of eczema or any dermatological disorder, many people are deficient in Omega 3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids. Which are excellent for the skin. So ask yourself, how often do you eat salmon or flax. Well, buy some flax seed oil and take each day. Vitamin E oil is also great for the skin when applied each day or tea tree oil. Just keep in mind the human machine is perfect when in balance, however we dump artificial things in and on our bodies that act like the real thing, but isn't. Food is the key here. Research for yourself in order to find the right foods to ingest that will revitalize your skin.

If it is really dry, use lotion. Gold Bond works very well. Don't put water on it as water will evaporate and dry your skin even more. In the winter, the air will make your skin very dry. Apply lotion daily. Every night after a shower will help. The lotion doesn't stay on skin forever so you will need to keep re-applying whenever you have spare time. Regular lotion that you can get from Victoria Secret or Bath & Body Works won't moisturize your skin for very long. More expensive brands will work better.

I have the same problem.
1. Visit a dermatologist. Rather than going through lots of different expensive products through trial and error, get an expert to give you a solution that works.
2. I use CeraVe Cleanser and CeraVe lotion. They are not oil-free, but they are light enough to not cause breakouts. Do not dry your face with a towel after washing it. Instead, apply moisturizer right away. This will trap moisture in your skin cells.
3. Buy some alcohol-free aloe-vera gel. It makes a really good moisturizer without causing acne.
4. On your actual wedding day, wear a primer under your makeup. It lets your makeup look smooth despite dry, flaky skin. I use M.A.C. Face Primer.
I hope I helped!

Proactiv is known to cause scarring. You need something with alpha-hydroxy in it to exfoliate your skin while still keeping your skin clear. Have you tried any of the Clinique serums that go on at night under your moisturizer? Like Turnaround or Repairwear. Both of these creams and serums will clear up your skin and also help get rid of dark spots.
If you want something cheaper, Neutrogena is supposed to have a new peel that is supposed to be really good. A friend of mine just switched from Proactiv to the whole line of Neutrogena products, and her skin is doing much better.

I use a moisturizer from Origins and lots of malls have this store. I don't know where you are or if there is a store near you. They make really good products for combination, dry and oily skin. Their toners are great and there is like 5 different types to choose from. The moisturizer that I use is called "a perfect world with white tea" it has white tea in it that works as an antioxidant for your skin. If you can get to a store near you then they always give out samples. So go try that and see if you like. I refuse to use anything else, its that's good.

Skin has two glands. Sweat glands and sabaceous, located inside the hair follicle. The latter is responsible for the oily secretion. Any environmental changes affect the blood flow through skin. Ayurvedic medicines, contaioning nautral ingradients are better. As a protocol, only a doctor can prescribe a medicine. Allergic reactions cannot be ruled out. Glycerine soap retains oily appearance, but expensive. Simplest is oil bath. apply coconut oil all over the body. bath with soap.Don't use Shikkakai (natural shampoo from a seed for body)
