I'm not sure if they feel pain, but i do know that nature has designed their mouths to eat crawfish, other fish and lots of things that are prickly, pointed, sharp and hard. I don't think they would eat that stuff if it hurt.

I know this not to be true because I released a perch after tearing its mouth and the perch swam around keeping its mouth out of the water for a while . It was kind of disturbing and I felt kind of bad

i dont care they are going to feel the knife that i will cut them open with so i can put them in hot oil fish are yummy
