Visit the local County or City Clerks Office where the business is based. If they are required to be licensed, the license is issued routinely by the applicable Clerks Office.

I don't know of any states that need the valet company to have a specific license . . . but I'd try calling your city hall, and asking if the valet company needs to be licensed, and then ask how you check that they are.

But I don't think they need to be.

It depends on where you are as to what the licensing laws will be, but any legitimate business will have to register with the county and/or state in which they do business.
