Be honest witn your boyfriend. It was very sweet of him to get you a promise ring, but accidents to happen. If he loves you, then he may be a little disappointed but it will be ok.
Mention to him that you found one just like it online and that you would like to get it. If he offers to get it for you, then let him. You can do something special for him in return. And if he's ok with the idea but doesn't offer to buy it for you, then go ahead and get it.
Hopefully it will eventually turn up somewhere. But if you try to secretly replace it and it turns up after that, you would have some explaining to do. - Just tell him what's going on.
Do the two of you live together and use the same car? Could it have gotten lost at his place or in his car where you wouldn't have found it?

I would put the word out at work. Maybe someone found it and will return it to you. If that fails, I would tell your BF of the mishap. He may just buy you another another one for Xmas. It's always better to tell the truth than to try and deceive him by buying one to replace the one he bought you, why live with a lie?

decelerate ,panic won't help.Retrace all your steps, did you place on hand lotion? Have had your arms in soapy water , do you many times positioned your ring close to a sink? Take the seize off under the sink sell off in a bucket and look intently on your ring, inspect all the trash previously it leaves the domicile, opportunities are if it hasn't long gone down the drain or interior the trash and you lost it at domicile it is going to take place.

be honest with him and tell him the truth, if he really loves you he will know accidents happen. Last year i lost my wedding band after a week i told my husband because i was planning on buying a new one, he had found it and was just waiting to see when i would tell him about it!! i learned a good lesson right then it was better just to tell them right a way, because i had hurt his feelings by not trusting his reaction in the beginning

if you lost it, or misplaced it, it was not as if you wanted it to happen, so why would he get mad at you? I think it's better to be truthful always. If he really is a good person, he´ll understand you didn't mean to lose it. But don't start deceiving now, please.
