during a prostate exam?

The doctor puts on a latex glove, adds KY-Jell to his gloved index finger, asks the patient (a guy, of course) to bend over the table and relax (yeah, like THAT is gonna happen!).

The doctor inserts finger into the rectum...way up (I HATE this) and pokes at the prostate gland to check to make sure it is of normal size (i.e., no cancer).

The doctor withdraws after about 30 seconds and hands the patient a tissue to wipe himself (you can NEVER get all that KY goo off...and you feel sticky all day, or until you take a shower).

Still...this beats a pelvic exam with an OB/GYN any day!!!

A Dr. sticks his finger up the guys *** and presses down to see if the prostate is tender, enlarged, etc.

Men have them when they reach their 40's because they are prone to Prostate Cancer
