There is no such thing.

By definition, Champagne is bottle fermented to get the bubbles. A hogshead is a barrel. While a few Champagne houses perform the original fermentation that makes the base wine in barrels, the second one is always in a bottle.

Thus you are not going to get a hogshead of Champagne.

But any time is the right time to drink Champagne
