Well i met this guy at a dance and we started talking. All he was really interested in is if I was a cheerleader. I told him yes but then we didn't talk anymore. He is kindof cocky and into himself. Should I stay away or go for it?

Stay away! These are the most boring, boring guys! Not only will you get bored, you will start to feel inadequate or something, since the guy won't ever be interested in what you have to say nor will ask any questions about you (Unless they are something that could help him). I've almost dated several guys like this, but I knew they would drive me insane.

You probably would have realized right away if he was someone really worth going after. I would seriously just stay away from it, at least for now, because if you get into it with doubts there's a good chance you'll get hurt in the end.

Stay away because he sounds as if he is a little too into himself. If I was a cheerleader, now that is shallow really. He sounds like a butt.

This guy does not have a very good personality -- you are correct about that. Let's say you guys actually start to go out and see each other regularly... he is going to annoy you immensely because of his lack of personality, charisma and charm. Even if he's super good looking, you will not be very happy with him because of his lack of personality. Stay away. (I'd rather laugh and enjoy myself with someone special than stare at his pretty face wishing that he would say something meaningful, IMHO).

Sounds like a guy you should stay away from. Classic arrogant heartbreaker type. Dont be fooled by appearances, the feeling you have wont last if you go just by looks.

NO way! in my opinion, you should be with someone who is good for you. I mean like some "perfect,"(to you anyways). Someone you can talk to and be there when you need them. If he doesn't have a good personality, what's the point of being cute, when you just can't get a girl to like everything about you. Be with someone who cares about you. Hope this helps!

Stay away. You'll get so bored of him you eventually won't even find him very good-looking. If you're with someone you can truly love and whose company you enjoy you'll find he'll just keep getting better-looking in your eyes even when he gets older. The older you are, the more good conversation is a skill you'll come to appreciate. Self-centered people are never worth it.

Sometimes ********* is a sign of insecurity, not arrogance. If you are really curious about him, then get to know him a little better before judging him to be not worth your time.
If you already don't really care for him, then let it go and move on.

Without personality you have nothing. You asking if you should go for it is just as bad as him talking to you just because your a cheerleader. If he has no personality then you would be dating him just for his looks. Both are very shallow reasons.
