Assuming your image is transparent, you would just use a projector-type bulb or some other light souce which has a relatively small focal spot (definitely not a frosted bulb)

If the image source is not transparent, you'll need to add a large lens and a box to put it, the image, and the light into in order to make a "camera obscura". You can write me for more details if interested.

if you are going to use just a normal spot light it will not work.
unless you just want to shine a colour onto a wall.
you will need to put the spot light upside down as well, because when the image comes off it will be upside down dont forget!.

get the lense out of a projector less then £20
then put it about 5-10cm away fro mthe light.

you can only print off pictures onto a transparent slide (pc world) then you will have to play around with the focus and distance of the lense and the distance of the light from the wall, to get a clear picture.

otherwise you could sit there for months on end untill you have designed a circuit board that acts like a monitor and takes the image from the computer but instead of going to the screen it goes into the light, but sod that, just buy one ebay £100
