anyone else eaten a dog?

Question

I recently went to Saoul, where they eat cainine meat, and as a dog hater, finnaly ate one. I have eaten shark, and snake, and it gives a good feeling, eating a "predator", something capable of killing us, and eating a dog, something i dislike, was equally satisfying. People eat rabbit, and even guinea pigs, which are "pets", so why not dogs? Theyre dumb animals, like cows etc, thats why they run off first chance, despite being fed, and having a home, (unlike cats), and need penning in, or a lead, same as farm animals need securing.
It tastes like chicken, not gamey, and not bad, almost as good as kangaroo. Anyone else tried it, and liked it?

maybe any dog you have had has run off despite being fed, Ive had 2 and neither of them would go through the front door without having a lead on or leave the garden without me. They are part of teh family, they would protect me and my kids.

What makes an animal dumb? pets communicate with thier owners all the time, its the dumb owners that need to learn to understand their pets.

I've only ate vegetarian hot-dog.
But dogs being meat eaters themselves, are not the best flesh to eat.
Most land predators usually dine on vegetarian animals, as their meat is made direct from vegetables.
In nature though all dead animals will be eaten by something.
Horse meat is more natural than dog meat, much as many British people dislike the idea.
I don't eat meat, or fish.

I'm not for eating dogs, I guess I can see how one could see them as meat however. I'm just against it because it's not really the most natural thing. Most of the animals we eat are herbavors. You don't see people eating lions and stuff, because, predators don't usually eat predators. I disagree with your opinion on dogs which is innacurate, but yeah. Eating other meat-eating creatures is kinda odd. In the water it's different, but I'm talking about land predators.

How can you say that dogs are dumb?! Dont you think it comes down to the owner. If the owner really does not love, care or train the dog, what is to be expected. Could that be why you have such an ignorant impression?

How dumb can you be to feel such power off of eating a "predator"! What ignorance!!!! What is SOO empowering about eating a defenseless animal that never stood a chance against a person who kills for a living!!!

If it isnt illegal to eat dog, IT definitely should be!!!!

I have not but I would try it. These people that are so stuck in their ways are blindfolded to some great culinary adventures. How can you put it down if you haven't tried it. I'm one of those people who will try just about any kind of food, who knows it might be the best thing you ever had !!!

I've never eaten dog, but would probably try it in a country where they do. I'd give anything a go once. I have eaten horse, frogs legs, snails, shark and have tried rabbit but don't like it.

I have never eaten a dog but I think I should since you say it's so good! I haven't exactly eaten shark but I had to eat shark tablets that contained shark tongue or saliva. Anyways, you are one brave dude!

No I haven't, not knowingly anyway. I've eaten crocodile in a vietnamese stir fry and that was pretty good.
