We have a good basis so far.. I don't see her too often, however.
I am thinking tickets to some place.. but where? A concert?
And another idea I have is to get an empty necklace, jewelry case, and tell her that I have a gift for her, and when i'm standing in front of her, open it, and then kiss her. So it's like the kiss was the gift... any thoughts?

OK, I'm a chick and this is my thought. I think it's too forward to be asking a crush out on Christmas. Tickets and a jewelry box and kiss are too quick. Do you know what she likes? Like a little empty photo album in her favorite colors and say I saw this and thought of you?

Or does she collect anything, like penguins or something? Same thing. I saw this and thought of you. Or a CD you know she'd like?

That'll get the ball rolling for more conversation. If she likes it, ask her if she wants to grab a coffee or something. Just keep it light, then things will progress.

Tickets to someplace sound like a good idea if you know what type of music she likes; or maybe tickets to a play if you know what kind of plays she likes. About the empty jewelry box, how much of a crush do you have on this woman? And how much physical pain can you handle? If my guy did this to me he'd be singing soprano in the church choir next week. I happen to love jewelry and while kisses are wonderful things you see a jewelry box you don't think kiss you think wow he got me jewelry????
Now if she isn't crazy about jewelry thats a whole different ball of wax. What if you were to put the tickets to the concert or play in the box? Plus of course you can give her a great big smootch too. But if your crush is a jewelry lover don't do the empty jewelry box thing she's gonna be really disappointed maybe even pissed off with you.

jewelry is a very important gift. Instead, either something that you know she's gonna like (a book or a hobby or a ticket for a concert of her favourite star). Why don't you take her to Cirque du Soleil? That would be a really 'romantic' idea!!!

You have posted this question in Cooking & Recipes, so I will go out on a limb and suggest an extra special dinner out.

Any woman would be impressed if your gift shows appreciation of things she really likes. What does she collect? Does she have a real love for doing, making, something, or does she have a favorite artist?

Without knowing her age, It is tough....at different stages in life, women collect different types of things. Does she really like a specific author or poet? You could buy her a piece of art (drawing/painting/book) that has to do with one of her favorite books or plays. (I collect anything that has to do with Shakespeare's Twelfth Night play)

If you edit your question to tell us more about what she does, likes, collects, I could come up with something for you.

If you guys aren't dating yet, jewlrey is too forward, and I wouldn't do the kiss thing unless you actually had something to give her right afterwards. (Otherwise, you might come off as cheap.) Tickets are a good idea, because it will ensure you guys see each other again.

Take her ice skating (outside, if the region permits it) even if neither of you know how, reach over and take both of her hands in yours, and kiss her. She'll melt.

A nice gold charm bracelet. Every time you celebrate something together, you can get a charm for it.
