a medical problem?

i have sentive skin and over the past year i have gone to the doctor for a dry, painful, flaky patch i have on my back that is even turn the area on my back much lighter than the rest of back that is not affected. my doctor(s) i went to dont even kno what it really is... i really need help if anyone kno what it might be

If you've ever had chickenpox then it could be shingles.
