I had a absess tooth and went to the dentist and was prescribed antibiotic my face started erupting with pimples the 9th day i was taking them should i contact the dentist or my doctor

If you took them for 9 days that seems odd to break out so late? Are you sure it isn't something else? Anyhow you should be through the process by now. i would however tell both to have it on record that you should be give something different. If you truly are allergic you don't want to get them again. Right? So, that is something they both need to know.

It's not an allergic reaction -- if you were allergic to the medicine you would have had a problem when you first started taking it -- not nine days into the prescription. I think it is just a coincidence, especially since antibotics kill bacteria, which is what pimples are made from.

Contact the dentist since he was the one that prescribe them.

Contact your dentist, you had a reaction to the penicillin.

yes you should probably contact the dentist. its probably nothing but just make sure that theres nothing wrong. cant hurt!
