This girl asked me for my number then i called her and asked her why she wanted my number she says because i asked her number i asked her again she says is not what i think yet and she keeps telling her sister not to tell me and then she said she was only messing with me

She could be "messing" with you or there could be an attraction there. If you like a different girl ask her out and see how this girl whom asked you for your number feels and acts around you. She could be just doing it for fun or there could be a crush or interest as a closer friend.

if you are friends she could just want your number as someone to call. or she could like you, but then again it could be that she is just trying to mess with you. maybe its a combo of 2 or even all of them. now i no this wasnt much help, but girls are hard to explain and even harder to understand. i would know i am one!
