At least 50,000. You don't know what long term effects you are going to have. Get as much as you can, you deserve it for having to suffer.

All kidding aside, a totaled vehicle and 10K in meds is chump change. All a lawyer will do for you is take 30 - 40% of your settlement and drag the claim out for months. I am always amazed that so many people live with the perception that just because you have suffered an injury you should be entitled to the powerball lottery. I am also amazed and disgusted at the number of people that live with the perception that a lawyer can somehow bully the insurance companies out of tens of thousands of dollars above a settlement offer made to you. Here's some really good information: insurance companies are NOT afraid of lawyers. Insurance companies have lots of lawyers ON STAFF. Having a lawyer does NOT make your claim worth one cent more than it is. Lawyers settle 95% of EVERY case out of court, often for only nominal amounts above the original settlement offer. Your best route would be to attempt to work WITH the claims adjusters toward what you consider a fair settlement, leaving lawyers out of it unless absolutely necessary. Use your head vs your heart during negotiations.

Your lawyer should be answering that question for you. He knows, more than anyone, what you situation is and what the compensation should be. If the bills are around $10,000, I don't think you had any serious injuries, by serious I mean..any broken bones, facial scaring, body scaring, losing a limb...things like that. You probably had back problems, pinched nerves, or even buldged disks...for things like that, you are not going to get much. But if you had a serious injury, depending on what part of your self was injuried, you can be looking to settle anywhere from $25,000 to $70,000...like I said it depends on your injuries. Each body part has an amount its worth...for example, you break your elbow in an accident...elbows go for about $20,000. I know, it seems funny speaking about body parts and their worth but this is how insurance companies do it. I suggest you speak with your lawyers and your doctors (not all patients now what their injuries are, believe it or not) and maybe research online under no fault claims. Good luck to you.

A doctor who wants money can easily take any old back pain and turn it into a 10,000 dollar medical bill. Before anyone can tell you an offer as far as settlement they would need more information as to what your specific injury was. If you were injured, got treatment, and are better- dont expect to win the lottery.

There's not enough information for us to tell you that. You'll get lots of amazing numbers, but there's a small chance you'd get the figures being thrown around here. And you don't need an attorney. If you want to add more info, tell us what state this happened in, how long you had physical therapy, what your injury was, whether you lost time from work, your age, general health, any diagnostic findings. Otherwise, even though I've settled injury claims for a long time, I can't tell you anything about the value. Even if I did, there's no guarantee how much you'll get

Don't! Get a good lawyer and tell it to keep the case open for all future related ailments. They'll offer you a bundle, but do not accept and you'll be set for life!

Contact your insurance company. They are there to help you in just this situation. If they don't change companies. Talk to a lawyer only if talking with your insurance fails.
