No question about what you are saying-there is indeed truth in the book of creation. True also is the fact of religion and complications. But now if you are talking about the religion or the worship of the Bible as Jesus taught, I have to differ strongly.
There have been 2 religions since Adam & Eve one is true religion and the other is false religion. Proof of this is when Cain murdered his brother Abel over a religious issue. So this same situation exists now, there is the false-with every type of religion you can name and that indeed is complicated.
On the other hand you have what Jesus referred to as "worshipping God in spirit & in truth."(John 4:24)
The religion of Jesus in worshipping his God & Father was up front, sincere, accurate, honest, powerful etc. etc.--but that to became complicated, because of human imperfection & opposers(Judas, the religious leaders are some).
Was there anyone in the Bible free from there own problems, complications, misunderstandings--I cannot think of anyone except Christ who handled these problems perfectly.
Is a relationship with the God of the universe & his Son , Christ worth any complication--I believe so. Keep in mind there are levels of complications. For instance, you have religions that are in it for the money & fame, for easy sex acts with others, for those who like to control others, etc.
On the other hand there has to be a religion on earth today that indeed practices the Bibles recommendation for worship and tries to as an organization and indivdually to be like Christ in all matters. You notice I said tries-because even when an organization claims to be the True religion it makes mistakes. Jesus is no longer on the earth to correct matters, but God, Jehovah can and still does bestow a blessing on a group and individuals who try sincerely to be like his Son, as the Bible directs & instructs.
So if you want to just stick to the "book of creation" that tells a beautiful story that is commendable. The only thing is , if God has indeed provided the "Book of Life"--in the form of the Bible that is something we would be making a big mistake to put aside.
There is an interesting comment made concerning creation & the Maker of such that you might think about. Please note at:
*** Rbi8 Romans 1:20-23 ***
20 For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable; 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor did they thank him, but they became empty-headed in their reasonings and their unintelligent heart became darkened. 22 Although asserting they were wise, they became foolish 23 and turned the glory of the incorruptible God into something like the image of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed creatures and creeping things."
So we can recognize God's marvelous qualities like love, generosity, sense of humor, majesty, kindness, goodness, every conceivable good quality we could name. But if we start putting the creation up as something to take the place of God then we could be heading for trouble as the text above says.
If again, the way of life along with the love for creation is to know the God of the Bible and not ignore what it really has to say --then we have to try and act according to its tenants.Incidently if you want to read an account of a friend of Job, Elihu, who helped Job when he was going throught a bad time please read Job 34-39 it deals with reasoning on the creation, very immpressive and stimulating.
Sincerely,
THA

The world around us is very beautiful.
You may think you do not need religion. However, don't forget fellowship implying sharing common interests, desires, and motivations. Fellowship requires that time be spent with another communicating, caring, etc. As Christians we fellowship with one another because of our position in Christ, because we are all redeemed and share an intimate personal knowledge of Jesus. We share a common belief (Acts 2:42), hope (Heb. 11:39-40), and need (2 Cor. 8:1-15).
