I'm a junior in high school and have a very busy schedule. At this point I'm getting 6-8 hours of sleeps a night.

I'm considering adding an hour of exercise to my schedule every morning. I'd wake up an hour earlier at 6AM, do the posture exercises my physical therapist has been bugging me about, do stretches, dumbell exercises, crunches, push-ups, etc, then go for a mile run (or rowing machine, it gets frigid in Boston).
I'm pretty out of shape (not overweight) and I think exercise would help get a good start to my day, boost my confidence/mood, etc.

Would this be a good thing for me to do? It means sacrificing sleep and getting only 6 hours per day, which might not be so good. Junior year is hard with SATs, APs and everything.

Also, should I eat breakfast before or after working out?

If you choose to begin a fitness program, please use common sense and do NOT bite off more than you can chew. Make a goal for yourself, start small. I started five months ago with the goal of doing 100 crunches and 50 pushup 3 times a week for 3 weeks. I started to see results within two weeks which motivated me to set a larger goal. I am now up to 200 crunches and 100 pushups a day and 50-100 miles a week on a road bike coupled with a healthy diet. . I lost 30 pounds and have never felt better. Better health will make your body more efficent even while sleeping. Concerning breakfast, I drink a Slimfast shake every morning after working out. It gives the calories and nutrients needed for workout recovery and life in general, though this should not be your only meal (i.e. eat sensable). Good luck!

Wow - that is poor that your very last relationship with a shorty ended once you concentrate on that of top differences! How superficial! I guess you'd be able to be constructive it change into now no longer actual love. I realize what you advise about the differences of being with a shorter guy in evaluation with a taller guy - despite the indisputable fact that attempt to encompass the undeniable actuality that you're tall and that i evaluate relationships will in all likelihood be less demanding. (a lot less puzzling said than complete, I realize.) I evaluate adult males will on the total evaluate insecure in the journey that they provide idea to you're. I truly have dated a mess of adult males that were shorter than me...it change into less than no circumstances a project that I knew of. purely attempt to deliver your self confidently and do not feel embarrassment about your top and assume no longer something a lot less of him! There are diverse reward of relationship shorter adult males...they're on the total nicer. ;-)
