Hon, you would be f*rting in the wind to think you can get a probation officer to drop warrants for revocation of parole in any state.
He will serve time in Texas. He will be released but never even leave the jail premises because the other state's warrants will be served him on the spot. The State of Texas & the other state would already have made arrangements for an officer(s) to escort him to the other state where he will serve time for probation revocation.
You should seriously reconsider your relationship with this guy. Could he be using you to try to get him out of the mess he has made? It's easy for people in prison to whisper sweet nothings to a girl if they think it would be to their advantage. Please don't jeopardize your future.

I would suggest contacting the district attorney in the area where his warrants are out of. The probation officer has no jurisdiction over the warrants, although may be helpful when talking to the DA if your friend has followed his probation, etc. The DA may drop warrants, reduce them etc. But, unfortunately, it sounds like he's not going to make it easy on himself. Assault w/ a deadly weapon doesn't exactly send the DA a message of repentence and being an upstanding citizen.

When you refer to someone as a "friend" and then make a statement that they are in jail, and also on 10 years of probation, are you aware of the classification you give yourself? The FIRST thing I recommend is stop referring to the person as your friend. Then I would move on with life and forget the person forever. Raise your self- esteem just a little. You don't need this person.

it really doesn't matter if his probation is in another state. the state of Texas will convict him for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. so he will do time.

Sorry to tell you, but if he got in trouble in Texas you can pretty much kiss him goodbye. Texas has a very low tolerance for crime of any kind, for any reason. They lead all the state for applying the death penalty.

Employers usually ask only about felonies, but background checks are becoming much more frequent. You will probably have a harder time finding a job, if for no other reason than, in this job market, employers can afford to be picky.

Yeah, all you have to do is go to the jail and tell them it wasn't him
because he was with you. Be an alibi.
Yeah right.
Why do you hang out with losers? Is it drugs?
your "homey" is prison bound
