i have wavy hair but a friend i know had straight hair like you and used this method, wash and towel dry hair, put mouse and a volumizing gel (i use the Pantein pro v) upside down, bundle it all up and wrap a hair tie arounf it all on top of your head, i leave it like this unill i did my make up but she did it over night and added hairspray (aquanet) in the morning or when u take it down! try it out!

first you need to buy some curling shampoo and conditioner, some gel, hairspray and moose!!

When you are in the shower and u want to scrunch your hair that day, use your curling shampoo and conditioner. Then when you get out of the shower don't blow dry your hair just moose your hair up really good. After you're hair is good and moosed put some gel in your hands. Next you flip your head over and start grabbing your hair like you're grasping for air or something. Flip your head back over and continue doing this all over your head. Spray your hair while it is still wet. Put your blow dryer on it's lowest setting and continue grasping your hair. After you're hair is almost completely dry, just spray once more and let it air dry the rest of the way

--*I know how to do this cuz my hair is very very pin straight and it won't hold curl either! but this helped me and hopefully it will help you too

I have thin, fine, straight hair too. I use KMS mousse on it. If you want really authentic scrunching, use beaten egg whites. It's amazing, it looked like I had a real perm!

And when you blowdry your hair, either put it on low or use a diffuser. It's amazing how well it works!

Take a shower before bed and while your hair's still wet, put it up in buns and spray them with hairspray and a little Aussie Sprunch spray. In the morning dry it while its still in the buns for a few minutes. Take it down and Sprunch it some more if it needs it.

This is VERY cute!
