I have short-ish hair, rather thin, with lots of layers, originally light blonde, then after 2 years of dying and about 10 months of letting it grow out from black, a dark gold/light brown all over, my roots seem to be growing out the same colour as the faded dye.
now winters here, I'm bored with it, and have decided to go back to blonde, but VERY blonde, bleach blonde for some vibrancy during the cold months. I wanted to know, what experiences have other people had bleaching their hair, and were they happy with the results?

If it is done professionally, YES.

If done from a bottle in your sink, no.

I don't think you should go platinum blonde, I think a medium brown with light blonde highlights would look better. If you do go platinum blonde make sure your hair is prepared use Bed Head Dumb Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner for 1-2 weeks before coloring your hair, it will help reduce the damage.

I am very happy with my very light blonde hair, but I have long hair and few layers. I also keep my roots a little (1/8 to 1/4 inch for depth). It depends on your complection, too. If you are very pale, that wouldn't look so great.

actual expensive. relying on how lengthy your hair is, aroundabout one hundred for medium length, and about 80 to get it touched up each and every 2/3 months or so. in case you do the works with platinum, it will fee you a leel bit better at the start, yet you wont favor to the contact it up as usually so that you'll save in the longer time period. refer on your hairdresser about what you may want to do, and how a lot it would want to fee. otherwise, theres continuously sturdy ole dye from the food market. Its no longer the finest, yet in case you spend $30 - $40 on a field then it will artwork ok. make constructive you examine the tutorial and purchase an better field in the journey that your hair is on the lengthy area. Then once you contact it up, you'll in straight forward words choose one field and it is going to fee plenty a lot less. wish this permits :]

If it's to attract guys, don't bother, if they are only interested in your hair colour, they aren't worth bothering with!!, in my opinion anyway, try a wig or hair piece first. xx
