u really need to pluck up the courage to ask someone whether or not she is single first. at least then u will know if u are in with a chance. i know u are shy, but she might be the love of your life, do u really want to miss out on this opportunity ? if she is single, then try to spend more time around her. ask her if u can get her a coffee, or something like that - just to get the conversation started..... or compliment her on her hair / clothes...... all women like compliments ! make a point of saying hello to her every day, and when u are a little more used to talking to her, try to suggest going for lunch, or going for a drink after work. good luck, hope it all works out for u .

A long time ago a guy at my job asked me if I had a boyfriend and I said yes because I was engaged at the time.

Later that day I wondered why he asked me the question.

I think you should take that advice and when she is not busy just ask her if she has a boyfriend if she says no then ask her if she will like to go out with you. It makes you sound respectable and your not dogging after her.

If she says yes then say okay.

Good Luck

I believe society expect men to be the ones to make the first move, but as you know most men's biggest fear is the fear of rejection. Because of this fear, women are usually the ones who have to give us some kind of signal so we believe is alright to approach them. So most of the time men are the ones to approach women, but women are the ones who make the first move that initiates the process. I don't want to generalize in this answer, because this behavior can change based on location, culture, or age range.

It may be safer to try and find out what she thinks first... Get all yr work mates to go out for a drink after work, then talk to her whilst everyone's there... dont scare her off!!

well for your situation it's best to ask her when she is on her own, just ask her name and smile as a start. then the next day ask her if she would like to go with you for a coffee, if she says yes well just go with her for coffee and leave it at that, then when your ready ask her for a dinner or drinks date, take it from there.keep your head high no matter wot happens

Look at her hand, if she has a ring, she is probably married.

Be careful with work place romances, you could end up in hot water.

listen up - I fancied a girl at work for ages and i was sure she liked me. when I finally plucked up the courage to ask her, she had left the company the previous day. i could have kicked myself!!!! Seize the day - from that moment on, i intend to.
