Well...I do believe the verse is clear and answers your question. Abraham knew and believed that God created His creations from nothing and that He is capable to annihalate them and then resurrect them again. The question Abraham asked was HOW and he wanted a clear demonstration of it. God's questioning of Abraham was not because He doubted Abraham's belief in Him; in fact God knew the answer since pre-existence. However, God wished to hear the words of belief from Abraham and a request to see some of the great signs of God's limitless power that are usually not seen by people. The sight of such signs unquestionably strenghtens a person's belief; as it fills him with the feeling of safety and enthusiasm.
A clear example of that if I said that I believe that even the most powerful man on earth can't lift Mount Everest and I try convincing people about it. Beyond any doubt is that I really believe that. But if the most powerful person on earth really came and tried to lift Mount Everest, it will be a great delight for me to see how disabled he is in performing the incredible task, like the following:
1-The guy shows amazement at the huge size and very great height of the mountain.
2-The guy laughs a lot before he tries lifting the mountain.
3-The guy laughs greatly and shows that he really can't get hold of the mountain; as it is impossible to hug it.
4- The guy's face turns red and he almost suffocates as he even tries to pull some rocks from the mountain....etc
Beyond any doubt that such a scene will make me more and more convinced that it was impossible for the strongest man to lift Mount Everest, and beyond any doubt it was an exciting experience.
This is why the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that "We are worthier of this attitude than Abraham"; as people like us would love to see -from time to time- some of God's supernatural signs that deepens our belief in Him and raises our enthusiasm about His Greatness.
Again, it has nothing to do with doubting God's power or God's existence. In fact, Abraham was 100% sure that God's power is limitless.
PS: To those pathetic infidels who try to reveal that their corrupt Bible is worthier than the Holy Koran I say:
Aren't you idiots the worshippers of a slender and bearded man who was hiding from the Romans and was betrayed by one of his disciples; only to be flogged and nailed to the cross and then die. Is that your god whom you call God Incarnate; and whom you have no doubt in his limitless powers????
Wasn't that god of yours the one who DIED and went to HELL FOR THREE DAYS before being resurrected????
A god who stayed in May's womb??? Who ate and drank and went to the toilet????? Who grew up from infancy to childhood to adolescence to manhood?????????? Who bleeded when tortured and who refused to cure a Gentile woman?????? Oh you worshippers of the cross????????? Fear God and know that you are not to escape His punishment for you; I mean that you'll immortallize in Hell where everlasting Hellfire shall torture your wretched bodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"And Abraham believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness" -Genesis 15:6; "For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness" -Romans 4:3; "And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being little convinced that what He promised He was also able to perform. And therefore it was accounted to him for righteousness" -Romans 4: 19-22

ABRAHAM DID NOT DOUBT GOD (see below)
GENESIS 22:1-19
Abraham's Faith Confirmed
22Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham!"
And he said, "Here I am."
2 Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
3 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey; the *lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you."
6 So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and the two of them went together. 7 But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!"
And he said, "Here I am, my son."
Then he said, "Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?"
8 And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering." So the two of them went together.
9 Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
11 But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!"
So he said, "Here I am."
12 And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."
13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of the place, *The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided."
15 Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: "By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son-- 17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. 18 In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." 19 So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.

We can not answer questions about your funny book. You must ask us about Scripture, then maybe we can help.
