None if you just leave it at home, you better get it out and start peddling the thing !! Then I dont really know how many calories you would burn so you might want to look into one of those little mileage tracker devises !! Ask @ some gym's or health clubs if there is some kind of devise for measuring that sort of thing. I know you can for when you jog but I'm not sure if there is one for counting calories while riding bikes. I'd be surprized if there weren't though, with all the technology in the world today!!

You have to go a lot longer than 10 minutes. You have to sustain your increased heart rate for 45-60 minutes in order to burn fat. Anything less than that time is a waste and won't even raise your metabolism.

I think on average you lose 600 calories per hour when cycling.
