For my nan's birthday I told her we were going to get a family portrait done. We all got into the car and drove fast past a speed camera, I wanted nan to be pictured really well, so we made her stick her head out of the sunroof in time for the flash.
Unfortunately nan died that day, and now I have seen the portrait of my car sent by the police, the look on nans face made me feel like she wasn't really enjoying her birthday present.
I feel so bad about it, I am not sure I even want to pay the £30 fine!

I'm sorry for your loss. When someone has something happen that feels out of control we think we can gain control by thinking "how could I have prevented this?" OR by blaming ourselves. Normal to go there but not to stay there. Her head being out of the window didn't kill her. She died of natural causes right? Sounds like you are a fun grandaughter! I am glad she had a family that cared to include her and show her a good time. What a great gift on her last day. Take care of yourself in this hard time.

no ur nan was just in shok dont worry urself it must b hard to take it in but recently i lost my dad nd im only 15 i want him bak cos i miss im we didnt get on well wiv eacgh ither and i blamed myself at first but nowm i realise wat e died 4

You shouldn't blame yourself for her death. I don't think your family does either. It was her time, regardless of what was happening around her.
