Do you still like him? Is it puppy love? Is he good to you? If the answers are yes then go for it. If even one answer is no then do not do it for your own good.↔

If you broke up because one of you broke the trust, then probably not. Whichever one of you did it needs to handle whatever issues led you to betray someone you supposedly cared about, before dating anyone.

If you broke up because he didn't seem to be that into you, then have him prove that he's into you before you consider going with him again. This takes time.

One of the best measures for young people who are inexperienced is the difference that there should be between how platonic friends treat you and how your partner treats you. If your platonic guy friends are contacting you more often, doing more for you, and are more honorable in their dealings with you, then whoever is supposed to be your partner isn't making the grade. A guy shouldn't make it into your potential boyfriend radar until he is more dedicated to you than your platonic male friends. Until then, he should be classed as an admirer, not a partner.

Don't get into a monogamous commitment with someone who isn't up to standard in his treatment of you. (Same thing goes for guys out there who are reading this too.) It will be a waste of your time and emotion. When he behaves like he's actually interested in holding a place next to you for some months, then maybe it'll work.

Generally though, I have a no backtracking policy. If someone was stupid enough to let me go, then I was stupid for being with them in the first place. I learn from my mistakes, take the lesson, and move on.

It depends...

1) How much did you like him?

2) Do you still have feelings for him?

3) Why did you break up?

well usually if you break up and go back out with someone, more than likely you'll just break up again. but, some people DO change, so yea why not, give him another chance. if it doesn't work out this time then you'll know fir sure he isn't the one. so yea good luck with what ever you choose.
