If we are the "supreme human kind" as we say we are, if aliens exsist and they are more advanced then us wouldn't that show that there is no God since we are suppose to be his best creation? Think about this hard before you answer.

Sure. Here are a few possibilites

1. There is an all powerful , omnicient being whom created the universe - perhaps we're part of their 4th period cosmology class experiement. Lets help God get an "A" and not fubar ourselves into oblivion. Maybe it's a Universe sized version of Sim Earth where you get a better score depending on how many intelligent species survive or something. This implies that other aliens would be just as good as us but let's be comic racists and say you get "extra-credit" if Humanity survives.

2. There is no God, the universe was caused by an unknown/unknowable event from an ultradense soup of subatomic matter energy. Aliens and Humans all alone in a big universe 14 billion light years across.

3. Maybe it's all about Star Trek, Maybe there is a God or race of Gods (think the Q from Star Trek) who evolved in our Universe and are so powerful they can engineer whole star systems and promote or kill off species as they see fit.

4. Star Trek again, Maybe there's an advanced human species which , to a bunch of primitive herders, merchants and farmers, someone who beams up to heaven and is "from Heaven" and "Goes up to the stars" really is just some crewman on a starship. Perhaps Jesus or Mohammed were just an really just a xeno-archeologist who came from an advanced race that is guiding our civilization.

5. There are God like entities or god-civilizations in the universe but they are too busy doing other God-like things to bother with us. Perhaps when they find us or we find them we won't even be able to communicate with them.

6. God is a consciousness or energy based being who can move backwards and forwards through time and cohabitate or live inside us - experiencing the world as we do. That would make the statements that "we are all God", that "God lives in every one of us for as long as we live" perhaps literally true. The Christian Trinity could be explained by this situation.

How many aliens have you seen? If they are out there, why haven't they communicated with us, if their so advanced?

I will say that would be a good way for Satan to introduce the Antichrist.

I believe all things are possible, but I'm convinced God is very real, and nothing could make me believe otherwise. Even if a spacecraft landed in my backyard.

If aliens exist and we do make contact with them, then that puts a wrench on many beliefs on Earth. Our holy books do not make any reference of extraterrestrial beings, with the exception of "angels" that fell to Earth (aliens perhaps?). Does this mean there is no God? I don't think so. I still believe that life is not an accident, and that we're here for a reason.
Let's try something hypothetical. Suppose you have a giant bowl. You throw in lumber, glass, concrete, etc. in other words, everything you need to build a house. You then spin and shake this bowl. You hit it with lightning, water, heat, cold, radiation. You do this for millions of years. Do you think you'll ever have a fully built beautiful house someday? I don't think so. Now think of DNA, which is much more complicated than a house. In the end you'll need "intelligent design" to build a house or anything else more complicated.

And these aliens would have come into existence without a Creator? The same arguments apply to all physical creation. If things exist they must have had an origin. And the origin must have had a cause which was not part of physical creation, since nothing can be the cause of itself. This applies to aliens or to anything else in the universe.

God also said that he was sorry that he made mankind. Perhaps he opted to try again in a galaxy far far away, but did not give up on us? Or...maybe we are not his best creation. Maybe we are just another of his creations? More advanced than some...less advanced than others? Or perhaps we started at x level of advancement, but have done little to grow, whereas an alien lifeform that was created with inferior starting advancement has worked harder and surpassed us? Or maybe...?

1st of all aliens, are fallen demons manifested. It is a trick of Satan to get your mind off of God. Then all of a sudden U become obsessed with UFO's, and Aliens. That is why Nasa(nasholes) are wasting billions of tax payers dollars.

If the existence of us as the best creatures in the universe is necessary for the existence of God, then us being second best would mean that there is no God. In the non hypothetical world, if we found aliens it would mean that we were wrong when we claimed that our supremacy was necessary for God's existence, it would not mean that God does not exist.

I can not express to you how often I think about this. I'm taking the following directly from my journal....

"If we can imagine it, then He already has. I feel this is truth, it just has to be. You, Creator of All that is…”free your mind, the rest will follow” funny those lyrics are playing in my mind at this moment. I feel as if I have discovered the mystery that has been dissembled all of my adult life. Man dreams about space, we couldn’t dream of that which you have not created. Space exists because you created it for us to dream about. Such as men discovering the new uncharted areas of this earth. This part of your creation you gave in thoughts and dreams to men like Columbus and Magellan. Dreams that Honor You are from you. Discovering your creation is Honor. How would it be possible for us to dream of anything else? So, does that mean because we can dream it, you have already created it? That would mean every generation is dreaming us closer to the destruction of earth and opening the portal of our existence?

Isn't this fun!
Peace :)

God is actual, i'm no longer christian yet i believe in God. extraterrestrial beings are also actual. i'm no longer putting forward they're all sturdy or all undesirable, purely that they exist. i imagine there are a selection of kinds of existence in the universe.
