I am having trouble with right speech...right now.

Who wouldn't? As with any philisophical or religious code of behaviour and/or inner discipline, the Buddhist path of living requires constant attention and effort in order to be effective; and seeing as we are human, we are bound to slip up now and again.

Yup, when I can notice that I'm having trouble with any 1 of the Noble Eightfold Path, I'll soon notice that I'm having trouble with the other 7 too.

Yes, I am having trouble with right speech and right effort. I gossip at work and am a bit lazy. Now that I read your question I feel a bit guilty about slacking off at work. Well, you gave me a good reminder to get back on my path.
