outdoors it depends on how old the track usually is. if it is old it may take 5 laps to get in a mile. however assuming that it is a regular track it should be 400m regaurdless of the shape of the track.

Once around an outdoor track is 400 Meters about a quarter mile.
Once around an indoor track is 200 Meters about 1/8 of a mile.
there are 1609.344 Meters in 1 mile

It depends on the track itself. But, they mostly range to about 1/4 of a mile or 400 meters

Depends on how big a track it is. Outdoor tracks are typically 1/4 mile. Most indoor tracks are half that size.

an outdoor track is 400m or 0.24856miles (not 1/4 of a mile because this is actually 402.32m)
an indoor track is 200m or 0.12428miles

4 Laps is a mile so 1/4th of a mile trust me I know I'm a CC runner and I HATE THE TRACK lol
