Tattoos are overdone in general. Seems like 50% of the population has them these days. Great way to be original, do what everyone else does!

Celtic or tribal arm bands. It makes the wearer look like a tattoo sheep. As in - Baaaa! I couldn't decide on my own so I just went with the rest! - Baaaaa!

I could never understand if a person is not Japanese, Chinese, Korean or in any way involved in the Asian culture, why would they get the characters of words they do not know tattooed permanently on their bodies?????
I hope the next person who goes to get the character for "Fortune" inked on themselves, gets the word "IDIOT" instead. How would they ever know the difference?

For women it would be the butterfly on the lower back! (Right above the plumber's crack) This tattoo and location is soooo annoying to see now-a-days!

none......skin without a tat is wasted canvas! Everyone has the right to put on thier body as they wish. If I had to pick something that I have seen too many times, it would be the praying hands and "in memory" tats. Pick something original to remember your loved one by.

for women: the babyphat cat or panthers
for everyone: writing in chinese, japanese or kanji
p.s. i have had kanji on my lower arm since 1998, and i'm so over the trend.

Swastikas the SS and skulls. I've had my skull for years and now I see them everywhere I go. In jail all I see is swastikas and the SS symbols.

i think there are 2... i cant tell you how many crosses or crusifixes ive seen on a guys arm or between his shoulders. and there seems to be a never ending supply of females who have angels or fairies on the small of their backs... those two are def overplayed!!!
