YES, it hurts more to remove it than getting it done in the first place. I would suggest making sure that you can deal with a tattoo for the rest of your life before getting one. I never want to have one removed again.

yes it does. My brother got a tattoo removed on his ankle and he said it hurt really bad. It hurts worse than getting the tattoo itself. Next time if you want to get another tattoo think about it for a little while to make sure that it's one that you won't want to get taken off in the future.

Are you doing laser surgery? I'm having one removed as well, and it sucks. I put on numbing cream an hour before I go every time, and take a pain pill. Plus it costs way more than they let on. I was told 8-10 laser treatments would completely remove mine, but it's been 14 and it's still visible. Good Luck.

uh yes becuz they virtually burn ur skin off with a laser down into the dermis and burn the ink out so yes it hurts more then the tattoo did get a coverup or just deal with it
