okey im planning to get back to school for this semester, is it possible that i can get a transcript from my previous college for credits earned even if my loan has not been paid off yet, but in process for payments? I really need those credits...please help..=)

Yes, just tell your previous college that you want an official transcript sent to the college of your choice and they will mail it, and the college will determine what transfers. You also need to do it for high school transcript and all other colleges attended. Your loan has nothing to do with it at all.

The school doesn't care if the loan is paid off or not.

Contact admissions and pay for your transcript to be sent to the new school. Usually costs about $10.

I assume this is a government load and you are current on the payments, if this is true, unless you owe the school some money you should be able to get a transcript.

If you do not have a hold on your account at your previous school, then you should be able to get your transcript. If you do have a hold, then you will not be able to until you get that hold resolved.

yes. a loan should not affect whether or not you can get transcripts. call the admissions office.

MY BOYFRIEND IS PAYING ON AN OLD STUDENT LOAN AND RECENTLY AQUIRED HIS TRANSCRIPT. I THINK YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT.
