I drink coffe and I think I should quit, but does it really matter? I use a lot of milk/sugar in my coffe, have a small mug every morning, and go out. I heard that it makes your penis smaller, but I dought that.
I pretty much need coffe... I can never fall asleep earlier than 11, and I have to wake up really early almost every day, and for my day I need to be really awake and active.'

So what does coffe really do to you?

Coffee doesn't do anything bad to you.
You would probably be better off without the sugar, though.

Coffee doesn't do anything to you. It stimulates your intestines (I am sure you know all about that), it gives you more energy.

You shouldn't drink more than 3 cups a day. I drank 1 or 2 a day when I was pregnant. My doc said it was absolutely fine.

You can get terrible migraines if you stop drinking it cold turkey.

It can make you short tempered, so try not to scare your friends.

Coffee is the one thing I know I will never quit. If my husband told me I had to quit my 2 morning cups of coffee or get a divorce, I would have to stay with the coffee. (lol)

The caffine in coffee is what's "bad" for you. If you are a female caffine can and does cause fibroid tumors to form in your breast tissue. Once one becames dependent on caffine they can undergo what is call "caffine withdrawls"-the most common sign is a headache. As a side note-caffine is known to cause some people to have unsteady or shaky hands. As nearly any chemical that is introduced to your body...(pain killers, anti-swelling aids, "energy boosters", etc,) you body builds up a tolerence for it and it no longer has it's same effect. So if you have been drinking coffee for a while it probably doesn't give you the same "burst of engery" that you first began with at a particular quantity.
To be honest you do not NEED coffee per say for 'energy'. To stay awake and be active the healthy way, donate about and hour and a half of your week to cardiovascular exercise. Spread it out through the days... (jump jacks, immovable bike, arm rotations.... something to keep your heart rate up for a significant amount of time.) When your heart rate is elevated you body uses stored energy that is in the form of fat (it's converted) it's a metabolism boost...great huh?... You wil also be able to have a more productive rest time at night for the few hours that you do get sleep... as your body rests and restores its self.

Try to slowly ween yourself off of caffine...because alarmingly there is an increase in historectomies in women nearing their mid-forties because of fibroid tumors on there ovaries. Fibroid tumors are non cancerous...just sometimes very painful and energy draining.

hope this helps... good luck

Coffee is okay, it's the amount of sugar and cream that you use that can hurt you.
