These people are no different than the Klan. They're a dressed up hate group and that's it. They could care less about real Christian values.

That is so true but until the people get their eyes opened up to the real truth it will continue. Republicans are for big business and they are big business. So they go along with the political leaders and take from the poorest people to give to the rich.
To sound respectible they have to be against something.
So they pick something that is in a very small group that traditionally doesn't vote. Or a few unwed mothers. Who don't vote either. This gives them clout with the majority of Americans.
While they get rich with tax free money they preach these young men into war by supporting war and those who call it.
Lets face it war is making money for big business especially halburton. Chaneys company. During war time more people contribute to religious funded organizations.

The are political organization seeking to mobalize a certain demographic. Thus they only choose divisive issues to push in the public realm. This would be true of James Dobson's organization Focus on the Family and also the group Concerned Women for America.

Look into the inner cities and see who is doing the most work to help the poor and deal with the homeless. Who runs the most programs for latchkey kids. You will not find the United Way on the top of the list. You will find Christian organization leading the way in all human service activities. The Salvation Army, Catholic Social Services, and Rescue Missions, individual Independent Baptist churches all doing outreach not just at Christmas but all year around. How many Atheist groups deliver food to the needy in July? As a Deacon in my church I know it was done.. Where were you? I shouldn't get upset with you, but sometimes the hatred of the faithless gets me going... Jim

Sadly because every society, group or association seems to forment extremists. Christians are no different.

The extremist, zealots and born again Christians are doing tremendous harm to the Christian church and people are leaving the church in droves because such hate, invective and intolerance are nothing to do with Christianity but the product of self serving warped minds. These people are actually anti-Christian.

True Christianity is about love, forgiveness and tolerance.

because of the fact in case you allowed 2 men or 2 women human beings who've been in a dependable courting for years and years to call it a marriage it would manifest the conservative bible-thumpers whose fee of marriage failure, i.e. d-i-v-o-r-c-e, is a minimum of as extreme as non-conservatives and the liberally non secular, to no longer point out agnostics, athiests, etc. they choose to have a patent on what constitutes marriage yet they can't do it properly themselves.

Oh okay, so if a group is against killing the unborn that is the equivalent to the KKK? Why cant you understande that a lot of people consider abortion to be a sin. In the USA we have become so secularized that we see abortion as a right and a normal procedure, sometimes as a form of birth control. Many 1st world countries dont aallow abortion and I think it is a real reflection in the USA on the moral state of affairs.

You're right there is no difference between the CC and the Klan excepet for their targets. Of course, it helps that it brings in plenty of money from other idiots eager to bash Gays.

That, my brother, is a very good question. I agree with your assesment of this group, I think you've answered your own questions. Think of all the housing, food and health care that could be purchased with the same money it takes to churn out just one piece of tv commercial propaganda? Makes me puke.

You are a liar. The Christian coalition is part of a group of Christians that gives more money to the poor that most nations do. They also have free programs for those wanting to exit the gay lifestyle.
You are just an unhappy gay that can not stand to see something right be a success.

A true bible believing christian has his heart set out to win souls to Jesus Christ.

What happens when youi do, you have to deal with people's sins, and from that you got to show them what God thinks of sins.

Preacher's job is to preach and the truth to his congreation, no matter what education, science, media, etc are telling the world
