I know Coca~Cola can still be purchased in short glass bottles, however, is there anywhere where Coca Cola is still made and sold in glass bottles and made with REAL CANE sugar, and NOT high fructose corn syrup? Also, is Coca~Cola still available in the old-school TALL glass bottles anywhere? (If you're about 30 or older, you'll remember these glass bottles for collecting deposit money.)

I'm a Coca~Cola drinker and I can tell you from experience that Coca~Cola tastes very different depending on how it is sold or packaged. I have heard that Coca~Cola made with REAL cane sugar tastes a lot different and much better than Coke made with high fructose corn syrup. I have heard rumors that the real sugar Coke is still available in some regions.

In my opinion Coke Classic tastes best from a glass bottle. It tastes very different than fountain, can, or plastic. Try comparing sometime and see for yourself.

It is still made in Mexico.

Many stores sell it in their mexican food sections, however, a law has just been declared that NOBODY can sell mexican coca cola in the US. (They still sell it everywhere).

Try the little mexican stores in your town....the big supermarkets are the ones who get checked more often by the coke police.

Now, if you go to your local healthfood store, there are many colas being sold there that are made with cane sugar, not hfcs.
I wish I could tell you the brand I used to buy. It was fantastic.

Coca Cola manufactured in the United States will contain high fructose corn syrup, thanks to the corn lobby. Hence, in order to purchase coke that is manufactured with cane sugar, you'll need to look towards a country where cane-sugar production is an agricultural power house. Brazil is a good possibility, as are a number of other South American countries. Also, the old glass bottles are more likely to be in such areas, as they would have inherited them from the Coca Cola bottling groups in the more industrialized countries.

Before jumping on a plane to check it out, see if you can't find a pen pal in some of those places who could check for you.

Coca Cola was founded in Atlanta, Ga in the United States. Originally it's most famous ingredient was (coke-as in cocaine). That has changed of course... but to answer your question...
The Coca Cola factory (tourist site) is located in downtown Atlanta... it has every Coke product you can imagine....and even some you can't. I'm sure you will find your glass bottles and many other variances of Coca-Cola Classic.

In the United States, the closest place one can find Coke in a tall glass bottle is south of the border in Mexico. And you are absolutely correct, the glass bottled Coke tastes better, and this is due to the fact that the P.E.T. (plastic bottles) bottles impart a degree of taste to the product, and the Coke in plastic bottles doesn't last as long because P.E.T. bottles are more porous. Another problem with plastic bottles is that they don't seem to stay cool as long as their aluminium can or glass bottle counterparts.

K for P coke is made with cane sugar (as corn syrup is not K for P). KFP coke is only available during Passover. Glass bottles are usually bottler/region dependent.

No. Coke only make their products with refined sugar and corn syrup now. However, Dr. Pepper is still made with cane sugar. Here's a link to the Dr. Pepper site: http://www.dublindrpepper.com/

Check out the Mexican bodegas or tiny Latino groceries. They know how to get the good Coca Cola. As far as the tall bottles, I don't even know if I make them anymore...but I remember them!

Coke made in other countries sometimes has different ingredients. Pick a country that doesn't have America's (or Mexico's) access to corn and they probably use something different.
