Yes, I read a story one time where this woman was pregnant and the dog became very protective of her. He would follow her around all the time and lay on top of her stomach when she sat down. If anyone got to close the dog would growl at them. Then one night she and the dog were sitting on the couch when the dog just jumped up and looked at her stomach and became fearful. He started avoiding her and was afraid. She went to the doctor and they found out that the baby's heart had stopped beating. So yes, dogs can definantly tell if a woman is pregnant. All those hormones and such give off a different smell to the dog and they an probally hear a heart beat.

Can Dogs Sense Pregnancy

I'm sure dogs can, because I can smell it too. A lot of guys can, but for some reason women don't know this? A pregnant woman's pheromones change and you can especially smell it if they are a little sweaty. People describe it differently, but to me it smells like babies. Like if you are holding an infant and you smell the top of the baby's head. It is a good, comforting smell. So no need to worry. I just realized this recently, so I don't know if it is possible to smell if the baby is a boy or girl. I kind of want to experiment with this, but it would be kind of weird going around trying to smell women.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU18t

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Yes, dogs have been known to exhibit different behavior towards a woman when she becomes pregnant.

There are different theories about how they know. Some say they smell a difference in hormones, some say it is because they sense a different emotional state (like when dogs sense fear in a human). Metaphysically it is said that they sense a difference in the aura.

You may want to do an internet search for 'psychic pets' to get more info. You may also enjoy the book titled something to the effect of 'Dogs that know when their owners are coming home', and the book by Dr. Allen Shoen, 'Kindred Spirits'.

Congrats on the baby.

It's very possible. Dogs' sense of smell is beyond what we can imagine. There are dogs that are now being trained to detect cancer by smell (I believe they have them smell urine samples) and there are countless anecdotal stories of people who had suspicious moles checked out because their dogs wouldn't leave them alone. I see no reason why your dog wouldn't possibly be able to smell the changes in your wife's body that go along with pregnancy.

Yes, dogs hearing is extremely sensitive to low sounds, meaning they can probably hear the baby inside the womb, or they could probably even smell either it or the change in mothers smell due to the release of different hormones during pregnancy.

If they can smell cancer i have no doubt they can also hear or smell a baby from inside the womb.

A natural way for dogs to communicate is to bark at things they find or see, usually which are interesting or a threat to them. If you have a dog that barks too much, then you want to find a way to calm down the instinct by offering the best dog training. While you want to make sure your dog can express themselves sometimes by barking, you also want to focus on not letting the noise become a burden. Following are some of the dog training tips that help your dog to stop barking while establishing basic obedience rules for the home.

Start young. If you have an older dog that hasn't been trained to stop barking, it is difficult to stop. You want to make sure that you train puppies not to bark if they are doing it too much. The younger you start training them, the easier it will be for them to understand the dog training commands.

Understand what barking is for. Barks from a dog are used for several reasons. You want to make sure you understand why they bark and whether this can be prevented. Some common reasons for barking are from the dog being bored or lonely. If there are distractions that the dog feels are a threat, they may also bark. You can prevent dogs from barking by giving them extra attention or by getting another pet.

Reward them when they stop. Just like other types of obedience training, you can easily stop your dog from barking by showing them when to be quiet. This is known as one of the best dog training methods. Dog training commands and words such as saying quiet, with a voice that has a low tone, will easily stop your dog from barking. Once they do stop, you can reward them by telling them good in a higher tone and by giving them a treat. However, you need to do this instantly after they stop so they understand what the reward is for.

Anti bark collars. If your dog instinctively keeps barking at everything, then you can get a collar for extra training. When the dog barks, a stimulus or scent is set off which causes slight discomfort for the dog. If you aren't around and your dog starts barking, it will immediately stop them.

Know when to train. You want to make sure you don't leave your dog in a position where they can't express themselves. Even if you have neighbors who don't like the dog barking, there are certain times where they should be able to speak. Knowing when to apply commands and training and when to let them bark helps them to feel comfortable while allowing you to apply limitations.
The ability to offer the best dog training is one that is reliant on consistency and understanding your dog. If you have a pet that naturally wants to bark, then finding a way to monitor the behavior is the best step to take. Following these dog training tips can help you to establish better behavior with your dog while allowing them to express themselves at the right time.
