i asked this question. i stated my question quite clear i think
i did not say i made a whole new book. btw the bible is a bunch of books compiled. by book i mean "chapter" Genesis is a book of the bible. i know youve heard that term
my question is WHY if i make a new BOOK to add to the bible. why if i say it was inspired by god, and does not contradict anything in the bible, you will throw out as false? is it because i am not a pope? or you think that someone with such "authority" should chose whether it is inspired by god or not? why do you believe someone who makes the same claims, only because its written 2000 yrs ago? would you believe him if you were born in his generation ? or would u likewise throw it out as proposterous as your doing to me?
Plz read the question, lack of answering is aggrevating

First of all, you weren't hand chosen by JESUS CHRIST/ GOD to be a witness to his gospels, testimonies, miracles, or anything that God wants through you to show to the world. Most people who wrote the book,in the Old Testament, were prophets that were tell of things to come later, which did come true according to the Bible. People won't believe you if you add a book to the Bible is because according to the Bible, after Jesus Christ and his apostles, there won't be any more prophets, people like Moses, Abraham, or Peter because His Son Jesus Christ died for our sins in the cross so that we have a final chance of saving ourselves from Hell (I'm a Christian, if you haven't notice). And he's the last person to warn us about the nature of our souls. According to the Bible, anyone who claims, after Jesus and his witnesses, that they are send from God are false and that's why I won't believe the same claims from this generation. I rather believe claims from 2000 years ago because Jesus Christ had walked the earth then. IF you were to add or change the Book of Revelations, read the last page of the couple of paragraphs, there is a warning there.

I read it! Yaay for me.People who wrote the Bible never tried to write something to get in the Bible. They wrote letters to other believers or historical descriptions of events, there was no alterior motive. If you claimed to be inspired people would be suspicious of your intentions. Also nothing popes have written have been included in scripture. I'm not even catholic and I know that. Even if you managed to come up with a non-contradictory inspirational book, it would be called a devotional and sold in christian bookstores. Isn't that good enough? The Bible says that we are not to add or take away from scripture. That is also another reason why people wouldn't accept it.

Well, if it did not contracdict the bible i would not throw it out, if it isnt contradicting the bible it means its basically saying the same thing and that you are just paraphrasing or reiterating what the bible already says. Along those perameters i would believe it, but not formally awknowledge it like the bible. What makes it different from you saying writing a book now and the bible being written long ago is that the bible set a sort of precedent and anything you write along the lines of the bible is just complimenting it.

First.... if you knew anything about the Bible then you would know that the dispensation of revelation is over. The Bible clearly states that in several places and any new revelation would be considered false.
Second the book of Revelation also says that it is the end.
So, to answer your question, the Bible says that your "new" book would be false. It's a simple literary comparison.
{edit} Funny.... you asked for a direct answer and I have given you two. Several others have given you the same. What's not to understand?

Good question bro. Good luck on getting that answer. I have found that they do not like to give direct answers to direct questions about Christianity. Always beating the devil around the bush! ha ha
It's cause they dont have a good answer.
They can cite that verse in Revelation about the curse upon anyone who adds to the bible or takes from it, but the fact is that John wrote Revelation before the rest of the bible was put together. He should have put in a checklist so we would know what should be in there...several texts were not included in the bible. It is even possible that john thinks the only books that should be in the bible were those authored by him!

Good question. I would say that the Bible states that it is closed, read Jude & the end of Revelation. All of Christianity accepts 66 books & has rejected many others.
Hey, pick up Josh McDowells book, "Evidence that Demands a Verdict". He does a pretty good job dealing with this question.
The books that are now accepted have been accepted for approx. two centuries.
Y'know I have at times wondered that myself.

Not very many would take a 'new' book of the Bible without the Vatican's approval. Me however, IF and ONLY IF, what you have written is in complete harmony with the rest of the books of the Bible, would I take it as inspired by God.

I applaud Your question. I truthfully predicted much extra hate-spewing than you have so a techniques in those solutions, yet in a manner i realize it. As a Christian i replaced into taught that the Holy Quran is evil and hateful and stupid, and God forgive me i presumed it, with out even finding at it. whilst i ultimately tried to examine it (an English translation) i replaced into analyzing a terrible translation that only left me perplexed. yet i did no longer provide up. Later i offered a very sturdy English translation with commentaries and histories that helped me understand. human beings that's a artwork of severe splendor and profound reality. in case you're a believer interior the Almighty, you will hear his awareness. do no longer be so rooster to attempt! "he's ever susceptible to Mercy."

I answered your other question similar to this and will give you a similar answer. The Bible is complete nothing missing, hence the book of Judis and other "finding" are false. If it was ment to be in the Bible it would be.
