i think this would be a wonderful idea.
if you didnt hit it off the matchmaker would spare you any awkward
embarassment and you could both withdraw gracefully.
also if the matchmaker insisted on i.d from both partners, you would feel far safer than with newspaper adverts and the like,
..where you could meet any kind of freak whatsoever.
i would prefer this..to meeting at a matchmakers house.
i know nothing about matchmakers..will there be at least one in every major town, or have i identified a gap in the dating market?
how do they operate? i would like the sort of arrangement where if
we hit it off..we would buy a gift together for the matchmaker.
i wouldnt like it to be a strictly financial arrangement.
i can imagine this being a very emotinally rewarding activity for a
sociable mature [50+] person with a lot of life experience.
maybe the ideal activity for people with certain disabilities?
are any of you reading this doing this kind of thing in west yorkshire?
