If god knows everything then he already knows who is going to hell. So why doesnt he just remove their free will and force them to worship him? Wouldnt that be better than burning in hell for all eternity?

Ok obviously the question was not understood. I don't mean everyone, I mean the people that are going to hell.

What I've always wondered about eternal damnation, is that it pretty much by definition means that souls after death are no longer able to develop and grow.

Otherwise, if a soul in damnation in hell truly becomes repentant and finds 'the lord' or whatever, then g-d's punishment will be meted out on a born-again, saved soul, which kind of invalidates the whole salvation thing.

But if a soul can't grow or develop after death, this seems incredibly unfair to the millions of souls taken in childhood, or while still young and foolish. If a young man who is impious and irreverent and gets killed at age twenty is sent to hell, while a pederast who truly repents and becomes 'born again' at age 75 is afforded salvation, that doesn't sound like the actions of a loving supreme being. Certainly not one I'd want to worship.

However, if souls can develop and change after death, then there's no reason to act 'good' on Earth, because any sin or abomination can be redeemed after death. Sure, it might take 500 years, but if you have all eternity, so be it.

Either way, the whole idea of a heavenly reward or a hellish torment is completely untenable philosophically or theologically, and I cannot accept it as a basis by which to guide my mortal actions.

The whole reason for free will, is so we can CHOOSE to worship God or reject HIM. If God made everyone a worshiper of Him, we would be Angels, not people. The Angels both His and the fallen know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is real, and salvation is not for them. Mankind on the other hand has been given a choice receive or reject. Its up to you.
Make your decision soon as the end is at hand.

Choose you this day who you will serve. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Why would God want to move their free will, if he done that then he would have to back up & remove everyone free will, Because God is a Just God, & then Hell will not have to exist, But God does not make us a Robot.

No, God won't do it because he wants an voluntary love. That's y u have free will that can be the best or worst thing human beings have. Nobody goes to heaven accidently and nobody goes to hell accidently it is a choice.
If God would take our free will, we would be like robot. Would u want to be like a robot? People would hate God much more if they find out that God is making them do what they don't want to do.

Yes, God already knows who is going to hell. The Bible teaches that He is waiting for the full number of the gentiles to repent and turn to him. Then the Gospel will go out once more to Israel...and then it will be the end.

Romans 11:25 (NKJV)
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Why is God doing this?

Romans 9:22-24 (NIV)
What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? [23] What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory-- [24] even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

D.D., that's what free will is, nothing but a Hobson's choice of sin over salvation, and God would be fully justified in condemning every single one of us without any further effort whatsoever on his part. But he didn't, he sent his own Son as a propitiation for our sins. His elect then get the privilege of eternal life. "Forced" into happiness? More like a no-brainer for me.

You gave no idea what a gift free will is; do you REALLY want to be a robot? The flip side of that question is, why don't all the unbelievers just DECIDE to believe GOD to avoid an eternity in the lake of fire?

i could say damnation wins for worst decision, as I, an incarnate being, can extrapolate to think of torture that is going on a very long term; regardless of the undeniable fact that, oblivion as transforming into no longer something seems to have a flaw in it. the place does the potential of your physique and suggestions circulate once you die? It transforms, in accordance to the regulation of Conservation of Mass and potential. You grow to be fertilizer and according to probability component of the 0-factor potential or darkish be counted of the universe. Does this recommend you do no longer exist, or only which you're no longer "you" anymore? one would desire to amplify this to assert that what we are in this incarnation is mere phantasm. we are already component of the airborne dirt and dust and potential of the universe, yet we mistakenly have faith we are unique and indestructible as encapsulated entities, a minimum of the section that sees itself and is conscious itself. i could say the 1st decision is the worst and the 2d, changed in concept fairly, is the extra in all probability.

The idea of "Free Will" is not a biblical concept. The Bible clearly and unequivocally states that either you worship god, accept christ and are saved, or you don't and you die and are eternally damned. There is no free will associated with it period. That would be like pointing a gun to someone's head and saying, "Now, you have the free will to do as I say or else be shot in the head", and no one, not even religious people today would view that as giving someone a free choice to decide.

I think the part you're missing is that whatever version of "god" we are speaking of - may "know" all but there has to choices offered. We have to choose the correct path - some people even in their last moments........ without choosing we haven't earned the end result be it reincarnation - heaven - etc etc etc.
