I dont like to talk on the phone, especially for long periods of time, I find it very impersonal especially on certain issues. This has become somewhat of a problem because girls like to talk on the phone a lot and like the guy to call them (which I do, just not norm for me). My ex GF said we had lost communication because of this. I realize this is an issue and I am working on it, but I would like to know how do you guys and girls feel about the subject, can you relate?

i know exactly how you are feeling. i'm a girl and i find it hard to sit on the phone for long hours. My ex bfs used to get upset with me bcuz i dnt talk much on the phone. tell her that you'll call her but asking you to chat for hours on end is simply not you.

If you can't see her more often, then like with everything else in life, the approach should be "compromise". It can't be always your way; grab that phone more often and think , is her on the other end, picture that beautiful face; I'm sure it won't feel impersonal anymore.
