I have been dating him for a year now. We have been living together for the past 4 months. It is all about him. What he wants all the time. He drives my car. His is broke down and instead of fixing it he bought himself a new gun. Long story short I'm tired of it. My problem is I don't know how to "break up" with him. I really care for him and it will be really hard. Any advice on how to go about letting him go?

You should first find a new place to live were he cant find you. After you do that wait til he is at work and move out. Then break up with him over the phone so he wont be able to use his new gun on you.

What is going on with you girls on Answers? You all seem to not know how to walk away from guys who are just taking you for granted. Just walk away from these losers. Believe me there are good guys out there who will treat you with respect and show you how much they love and care about you. Just break up with him unless you want to get married and have the rest of your life unhappy.

That is sad!! I am with you on that one. The first thing you should try to do is tell him to change. If he doesn't change then you must not be so important to him after all. Then you let go at a slow and steady pace. Its all right hopefully everything gets better

Hey lady, no man worth the salt should stress you. Selfish men will drain you.You should be priority number one. give your self some space, ie take yourself out to lunch (me time).Reflect on the whole relatioship. if you discover u can do without him, then it should be easy to dump him. Go girl, you deserve better.

just tell him that u are tiredof being a doormayt. u arent and NO GIRL should be treated like that. a friend told me this last yr. "No guy is worth cryuong over and the one who is wont make u cry"

aww. this is always hard you do love him but you know that you cant change a guy. tell him this " i really love you but i think that this relationship is all about you and i believe in equal realationships. i think that neither of us are feeling as much love as we used to. im done." you need to tell him the reason. i really hope you use my advice.
