Man flu? That can be serious. You've got my sympathy. Anyway - cream of chicken soup, or even better, cream of chicken and mushroom soup..combined with shivering, going 'oh dear, oh dear', over and over etc and the wearing of a woolly hat and fingerless gloves and 'jama's in bed.. with socks too.

Well, what exactly is 'man flu' I heard a quote once - 'Men get flu, children get colds and women get on with it! - so I hope its not just a little sniffly nose! If you're really, really poorly you need a blanket on the sofa, your mum, and a big plate of something like mince and mashed potatoes and lots of honey and lemon drinks.

Tomato soup is the ultimate comfort food. My mum always used to give it to me when I was a kid. Now I find it is an instant "feel good" food. specially good with fresh fluffy white bread. mmmmmmmmmmm

I can't eat much when I'm ill, as I just don't feel like it. If I do it will just be something light like chicken soup or readybrek
