Movie land, brother. Actually, bank robbery is a federal crime and thus the FBI has primary responsibility to investigate and prosecute. Although, mostly they leave it upto the state courts unless your a big time robber or, as in your case, have crossed state lines.

Not only do you not keep the money, but robbing an FDIC insured institution gets the FBI on your tail for bank robbery and interstate flight to avoid prosecution.

no because 1 state has the right to expedite you back to where you robbed the bank. Unless of cousre you do to another country.and sometimes they have the death penality so id rethink it all together
