Does anyone remember the ramekins of cheese potatoes that used to be served at Bill Knapp's restaurants?

Does anyone have a recipe for them? I really miss them.

Oh yeah.....Oh, and I miss their chocolate cake they made.
(and those little finger bowls they gave kids to wash there hands)

Those were au gratin potatoes.
I don't have a recipe right offhand, but there are recipes galore, and they are all about the same. Slice potatoes, layer them with salt, flour, and cheddar cheese. Pour cream or milk over the whole lot and bake for an hour at 350. That is an easy starting recipe, but go ahead and check out other ones.

There are some great recipes you can make with velveeta and hash browns that are close to B. Knapps.
