It's hard to tell really since only the first few books are in chronological order in the Old Testament. Then there's no semblance of order among the books of the Prophets when you find out which circa each one belonged to...
Same thing with the New Testament: not necessarily in chronological order among the books and epistles/letters.
The best source would have to be the from Vatican's actual records reflecting when the Church actually first compiled it into one Book.

I read over some of the answers before I posted... Oldest to newest? Nope. Actually, the oldest book in the Bible was probably (keep in mind that this is still debated) Job. It's in about the middle of the Bible.
Chronological order is also not completely accurate. While the individuals at the council of Nicea debated just about everything, the order of books is no different.
They decided to order the books in order of what they thought wove a good and fairly consistent chronology. Keep in mind that the Bible's order has also changed over time...

well if u read it its mainly in chronological order. (ordered by what happened first). however, how they chose what books went in and what didnt is beyond me. i highly doubt these are the ONLY documents ever found.
