Generally speaking, green is supposed to be a good color for a bedroom as it helps you relax.

My room is color is called "Painted Desert." I got my color at Lowe's Home Improvement several years ago and it is still "not on my nerves." It is a soft light brown with a red undertone. It reminds me of light colored chocolate ice cream.

One person remarked that my bedroom looked like it belonged in a swiss chalet it was so comfy and cozy. My paint goes along with my quaint country inn four poster bed theme I had in mind.

Maybe you could paint three walls one neutral color and then add a splash of color on the fpurth wall. OR, how about a decorative color ceiling. OR, paint the room a neutral color and then paint the baseboards and trim a color that you like that blends with the colors in your bed linens.

What is your favorite color? Go with it in a deep or bright shade behind your bed (it wont keep you up) and then in very pale shades on the walls you see. Think a very hip or fashionable turquoise behind your bed then lighter blues or greens on the other walls. Possibly a rich burgundy or Rose with lighter pink.

I just painted a room in my house a nice, light turquoise and I am in love with it. It's beautiful, and calming and fun.
