First learn how to spell tattoo... Now for question at hand. If you are asking somebodies approval of what YOU want on YOUR body then you should rethink it all together. It doesn't' matter what others think about what you get on you or where it will go. Just do the basic questions to yourself. Is this design something you can handle looking at the rest of your life? Is it going in the right location (can you cover it for work if needed)? What's the meaning behind the reason for getting it? Is the artist doing it qualified to do it (not everybody is good at tribal, cartoon, free hand, Grey wash). I myself like tinker bell but I wouldn't get it inked on me.

Personally I think no, now don't take offense just hear me out. The answer I am giving applies if ypu are still really young, you may like Tinkerbell now but will you 10-15 years from now. If she has a very special meaning that is fine go get her tattooed on you.
I am 27 years old and I got my first tattoo when I was 19 and still love it to this day.
I have just seen with alot of people with tattoos who have some sort of cartoon/disney character they regret getting them. I would wait....unless you have already waited and are 100% percent sure this is it then go set that appointment and have fun!!!
Have a good one--Jammiegirl

I have a tattoo of a treble cleff music note on my wrist, it's very personal and something I will never regret.
You have to think about how significant that tattoo will be, when you're old and your grandchildren ask about it what are you going to say?
it's something personal enough that you want to have it inked into you for the rest of your life?
I have so many friends just getting tattoos to prove they can handle the "pain" and it's lame.
if tinkerbell is what you feel you want on you for the rest of you life..than sure, but just remember people will always be asking why you got it...and so you'll need a good reason or else people look at you weirdly...

eeh, it's not very original. i mean, if you are in love with tinkerbell and have tinkerbell everything and think you will love her forever, then sure. get it. but a lot of people got the tazmanian devil tattoo about ten years ago and wish they hadn't. same goes for yosemite sam and buggs bunny. cartoon characters are definitely something that most people won't love and adore forever. i used to love spongebob squarepants, but not so much anymore. and i'm glad i never got a tattoo of him.

I personally would say no...
I mean...Peter Pan came out when? It's a bit dated and will be increasingly so. Particularly if you're basing it off the Disney movie.
It's also not an original tattoo, I believe I've seen this image everywhere. Try looking up different artists renditions of fairies (a sample http://images.google.com/images?q=faerie+art&hl=en&hs=x7o&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&pwst=1&sa=X&oi=images&ct=title )
Try to find something that speaks to you or that says something about your personality.
If you do just love the story of Peter Pan try to make some sort of alteration that speaks to you and makes it your own.
If these things don't bother you, it's your body and you should get whatever you want.
