dont use anything from the grocery store or walmart the ph is way to high and will only mask the problem temporarily .in the end it dries and damages even worse. your best bet is matrix sleek and a diffuser on your blow dryer or a chi iron.

If you want your hair to look straight use Matrix Sleek Look Shampoo and Conditioner it is about $12 a bottle. If you want something cheaper then use the generic brand Sally's Beauty Supply store has it for $4.50 a bottle. If you want your hair to be wavy without the frizz then use Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo and Conditioner and Bed Head After Party most salons carry it. If you don't want to use that then just get a shampoo and conditioner that will hydrate your hair.

As a hairstylist i'm getting this question particularly plenty typical . The the 1st factor I ask women is 'How many times do you wash your hair ?' maximum will say daily because of the fact the its a extensive quantity whilst i arise . My respond is that the less you wash your hair the less frizziness you are going to have . Its now no longer that complicated to get use to . start up out by using way of rather of washing it each different day ; wash it faster or later and then only rinse it right here without shampoo . The detergent in the shampoo is what motives the frizziness and once you chop back on it the conventional oil on your scalp will coat your hair only passable to maintain your hair smoother . I honestly have shoppers that wash their hair as quickly as a week and now no longer maximum useful is their curly hair now no longer frizzy , regardless of the undeniable fact that their hair shade does no longer fade they many times slightly have cut back up ends . sturdy sturdy fortune :)

There are loads of really good shampoos, treatments and conditioners out there that you can try. However, my best advice would be to find a really good hairdresser - as they are best placed to start you on the road to smooth hair heaven! It might be excess colouring, it might be environmental issues, or it might be over-styling (like using hair straighteners every day on wavy hair might cause frizz if not managed properly). If you are doing a lot of styling, try a product designed to be used with heat (like KMS California Flat Out Hot Pressed Spray or Paul Mitchell Heat Seal Thermal Protector, etc.)

You can start your regimen with a shampoo and conditioner designed to "smooth" your hair, like Redken Smooth Down Shampoo & Conditioner or Kerastase Nutritive Bain Oleo-Relax with Kerastase Nutritive Masque Oleo-Relax.

Also, an excellent smoothing cream you can use the next day on dry hair is TIGI Bed Head 'After Party' Smoothing Cream. This is one of my colleague's favourites because it is a bit of a cheat's option - it's quick, it's easy and it's perfect if you want to quickly touch up your hair the day after styling.

However, making an appointment with a really good hairdresser is definately the first step you should be taking as there are so many products out there, it can really help to speak to an expert first!

Hope this helps!

try Garnier Fructis Anti Frizz collection. I use their shampoo and conditioner for breakage and it works fantastic. my hair has been breaking alot less and getting alot stronger and ive only been using it for about a month. You can get them just about anywhere and they are pretty inexpensive. Walmart has the whole line.
Hope this helps and good luck!
