Hi... my neighbor is having baby #2, she has a 2 y/o boy and is due Dec. 10... I offered and will make her a couple of dinners during the first couple of weeks so she doesn't have to worry about dinner and can have one thing checked off her list (us moms know how it is)... I have a couple of ideas of what to cook, but don't know of any that can be frozen.... any ideas? Don't forget she has a 2 y/o, so it has to be pleasing to him too! Thank you!

How about the standard tater tot casserole? Layer of tater tots, a pound of fried hamburger over that, pkg (or not depending on 2yr old) of onion soup mix, pkg of shredded cheddar cheese. Pop in the oven until well heated and the cheese melts. ( This can be frozen before heating. btw)

Chicken and rice, chili, spaghetti sauce, goulash, enchiladas, stew, all kinds of veggies, strogenoff, there are so many things! All of these can be frozen very easily! And if you put them in those plastic containers or some disposable tin ones, they are great to reheat!

Please message me if you need any other ideas...Good Luck!!!

i dont think you can give anything frozen to the mother because i read that fresh foods are healthier
don't try steak because it rots in your stomach after you eat it, it would probably harm the baby and try your best to stay away from oily foods
