Actually, you need to read about NAFTA.
If you get to know more about NAFTA, you will see that NAFTA is the main reason illegals come to the U.S.
For example, say you live in California, but the only jobs offered paid you 60 cents an hour. The company is NIKE.
You decide to go to Canada, where you can work for the same company, but get at least minimum wage.
That, in a nutshell, is what is going on.
American companies are in Mexico, getting cheap labor there.
Nike is a huge one.
These companies have horrific sweat shop conditions.
So, if you ask why there is a relationship, that is why. Mexico holds a lot of money for their companies.
It exploits Mexico, as well as many third world countries.
This is why Bush and America get blamed for illegals in the first place.
Don't get fooled by the immigration, that is really just the icing on the cake.
Think about it this way:
You sink is leaking. Instead of calling the plumber, you put a bucket under the leak.
That is immigration, the bucket under the leak. The real problem is NAFTA.
If you want to learn more, read "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins, who worked with the government on many of these "loans" we gave to struggling countries.
A good story to follow if you are interested is about Ecuador's current elections, they elected a president who said he didn't want to work with the World Bank or International Monetary Fund (IMF). He has the right reason, because we exploit countries.
If you saw Mission Impossible 3, the whole story line is based on this. Even the company where Tom's character works in, is called "IMF" but it stands for Impossible Mission Force.
Watch the movie, and towards the end, one of the characters explains how it works. It applies to our government.
But who is really corruption our society? Big companies are sending jobs to third world countries. These companies are outsourcing your jobs!

Perhaps he's quicker to admit to himself what would happen to our economy if they were gone. Think about it, it's not like he doesn't know how many there are or what damage they can cause, he is from Texas after all, right?! And while people will say "well Americans did the jobs illegals did long before they came", that is only partly true as there have ALWAYS been illegal immigrants to do the job and quite honestly us Americans weren't as lazy or were willing to do so much for so little back in the days. Not today though, today I must admit that even I wouldnt do the jobs they do let alone for the pay they get. Even if those jobs were offered at higher pay rates, I dont see too many Americans, even if only with a high school diploma doing those jobs. Do you, honestly? Im sure Bush and Mexico have other business deals and such we dont know about anyways, that could be another reason.

He is Pandering to Mexico because China is working for .38 cents an hour plus shipping the products to America.
He and his big business cronies think they can compete with Mexican labor minus shipping.
They don't care if they take down the American middle class at the same time since they will live far above them.

Hell, why does all our govt. keep pandering to Mexico.Mexico is jackshi t. Granada could invade and take over the country in a few days.
I agree with you illegal aliens are the symptoms, NAFTA is the problem. Read carefully some of the posts on this site. Mexicans and Mexican officials are trying to blame the illegal aliens.

He's trying to help em, and you can't blame him for that, but the national costs, by all accounts, have become truly staggering, and the question can be fairly asked if they, or anyone, even has control of the entire aid concept/process anymore...the REAL question in everybody's mind is if they've managed to collectively set our country up for failure with all of this...Mexico has GOT to do 2 things, start building infrastructure, roads, schools, hospitals, and so forth, and start taking care of their own people too.

He also panders to the Saudis. They are great friends. But, people of little intellect, like G.W, are easily bullied. Then, again- politicians will pander to any one with a checkbook or a voting ballot. So who knows why that man does anything.

Maybe he feels its the cheap labor to help compete with china, but even these Mexicans get paid way more then a worker in china. They work for like 25 to 30 cents an hour, no one can compete with that. I would rather see them on top then to have our country over run by illegals.

The problem is that Bush loves big business, and big business loves mexico. So going after those that hire illegal immigrants must be our first step. Next go after those renting to illegal immigrants. No job, no place to live, then maybe just maybe they will move back to Mexico.
