Does anyone have any information on the psychological effects of murder? I am hoping to find some type of information that shows how it effects a person and how hard it is to cope with. Particularly I am looking at abused women/men who kill their violent partners, however I believe information about people in war who must kill will work also. Please cite your information so I can read it at the source. Thank you!

Your interest is broad. To do adequate research you need to narrow a bit more. The effects of committing violence and being a victim of violence are not mutually exclusive. Age of the victim, perpetrator, and the victim/perpetrator have to be considered. When investigating victim/perpetrators you have consider the duration of their abuse. You have opened a can of worms. Good luck!
